Yeah I never succeeded on getting myself a dancing pole.

Still an ambition though, for when the time allows.

Best thing to leave the flooring untill last, work with the electronics first, such as lighting and sound, incorporate this into the structure of the room (such as the walls)

Then you can work on decorating the room to suit your personal tastes, I'd go for warm colours that don't have illustrations or animations on them, hate carpets and curtains etc that have flowers on them! Just leave them as a single tectured colour.

Leather seats are a must with good support all round.

Then you need a good in home entertainment system to work with the electronic infrastructure that was fitted prior to decorating the room....So many different options to meet so many different tastes.
