Beware A brand new Maybach. Fulda Maybach...

Imagine cruising the Autobahn in this one...

They built the car around the tire. No wonder it's an elephant.

    Stats:
V-12 Biturbo, 5908 cm³, based on M-285 engine
    VMAX: 351 KM/H
    Power: 515 kW/700 PS at 5000/rpm
Max. Torque: 1020 Nm at 2500/rpm
    Length: 5890 mm
    Width: 2140 mm
    Height: 1390 mm
    Fuel tank: 110 l
    Weigth: 2660 kg

They've made high speed tests in Nardo (Italy) with this car.
    VMAX: 351,45 - that means 218.42 mph.

Looks like the batmobile from the cartoons and I like the batmobile => I think it looks very nice and smooth, much more than the original maybach which looks like the big fat brother of the S-class

It is obvious to everyone else that this thing is built on the SLR platform. Look at the dimensions and proportions. If its NOT a Maybach version of the SLR, then they sure fooled me!:eye:

I think they even used the same wheels as on the SLR-concept.

To be honest, I dont understand the concept of giant 2 door coupes (6 series, Bently GT, SL series etc..)... They dont fit 5 very well... and they are much too big and heavy to be agile for a track... their only good for straight lines I guess.

For some, they have sex appeal.

What a truly riduculous car. Certainly belongs in a Batman film, or perhaps Darth Vader?
