I'm still having some problems with the design of the M5, but I'm a sucker for performance cars so yes, I like it.
As you may know Gustav is out on a road trip around Sweden in the new M5.
It is now almost 2 years since we tested the new Audi RS6 vs. the M5 E39.
As a bonus we threw in johanns M3 E46 (lightly modified at that time) and a tuned Audi RS4.
That test was done on public roads. Perhaps not dangerous, but far from ideal since there was ice and snow on some places.
I was given the mission to find a place where we could test the new M5 together with some other cars.
This time we're more mature. I rent an airfield!
This time only the rain can stop us, but the forecast predicts a lovely spring day far away from speed cameras and the Police!
So what cars do I bring to face the M5?
Well, I'm not giving all secrets away and all cars are not confirmed.
And there's got to be a few surprises in for Gustav - and you - as well.
But if everything goes as planned we're going to have a V10 fiesta!
And Sweden's one and only RUF CTR is coming by.
So the M5 is not going to get an easy tomorrow, but I'm sure it will prove itself to be fast and wonderful.
