    Question water condensation

I remember discussion about water condensation inside on the windshield.

My friend's Avant (manufacturing date 10/2003) got severe problem last three days during rain - no problem when driving but once parked the inside fogs up to the point there is actually pretty good amount of water on the winshield ......

    Was there any solution?

My good Friend over Quattro told me this:

    two known Faults:

    1. the drain hose of the heating is badly shifted (this is the "bad to do" work, takes up to several days)

    2. a wiring plug coming from the Solar Array is exchanged

    Solution:

    1. can only be done by a well trained Tech

    2. you will find this plug under the A-Column on the right side, need to remove one screw than you can see to plugs

ok, thanks for the info, looks like it will have to go in for service. Solar panel is working but will check that anyway.

This "drain" hose was a problem on the S6 as well .....

Does anybody have the problem without the Solar as well?

I think without A/C on after driving in rain and starting the car after few hours I have mist on frond and side windows....
    Peace All
