Last Weekend at Interlagos

Last weekend we have good fun at Interlagos Track here in São Paulo, Brasil.
We did a regularity race for road cars prior to the main event, 500km of Interlagos won by an Audi TT (ex-DTM 2003 model).

Saturday we have a 45min session for training and the race on Sunday. Even the event being a regularity race, we put the pedal to the metal.

There were 18 cars of our club, S3, RS2, RS4 and S8. We expected a meet with the BMW Club, but unfortunately only two e34 M5 made their appearance. And they had not a chance. Even our friend with his Civic Vti Turbo gave them more than a run for his money.

On Sunday our laps were timed and we did well. We run times very close to Porsche 996 and 993tt run on their events at Interlagos. Ok, only the modded cars did that, but it’s a very good achievement.

A guy posted some crap things about Audis in the M5board. I suppose that he is not the real driver of one of the M5. Like the Jaraguá Hill Climb here in Brasil, the Ms will need more than just words to not just be in our dust.

I suppose the S8 is a twin turbo one. What about the other cars ?

There were
S3 from 210hp to 350hp (Majority with only a chip)
RS2 4 stock (315hp) and 2 with about 430hp (including mine)
S8 twin turbo, but with only 0,2bar at the moment
RS4 1 stock, 1 with 450hp and 1 with 517hp

only four or five of us ran full throttle, cause it was the first time for a lot of drivers and because the race was not a speed race and some were really competing at it.

I believe I know the owner of the 517HP RS4 as he was in Paris end of March for our Le Mans Track Event.

Can you tell us more about the S8 Twin Turbo ?
Who is making the mod ?
Why only 0,2 bar at the moment ?
