    Sportec PDF

    http://www.sportec.ch/upload/artimg/...s_Audi_RS6.pdf

    Cool. (english is on the right hand column).

    What I'm not finding out is how much of this stuff is reliably handled and by who, in the USA.

    Does anyone know the weight of the MONO wheels? are they lighter or heavier than the factory wheels?

    Also checked the MONO/10 catalogue:

    8.5x18" = 13 kg

    8.5x19" = 13.6 kg

    10 x 19" = 15 kg

    9 x 20" = 11.9 kg

    For the Audi RS6:

    8.5 x 19" 255/35/ZR19 Chrome Silver Anthracite (13.6 kg)
    9 x 20" 255/30/ZR20XL Chrome Silver Anthracite (11.9 kg)

    Also - don't miss these Sportec pictures in the Gallery:

    Glad we got that one settled for the FAQ...

    thanks, I also checked out hrewheels.com as recommended by someone in that thread who thought Sportec were ripoffs, but unless I'm misreading pricing, their 840R forged design at 19" sizes are well over 1000 per wheel as well, and much more with color coding etc..

    so i don't know what he was on about.

    The summary then is that you need to go 20" to drop some weight and be forged. But perversely although you won't bend a rim as easily (because its forged) you'll probably chew up tires on potholes instead.

    So I'm looking at 19" I guess...

    I got a quote from hrewheels

    The pricing for the 840R color matched to your vehicle is as follows:

    19x9" = $1806 per wheel
    20x9" = $2039 per wheel

    He didn't say whether that includes tires.. i suspect not.

    the forged 20x9" mono in chrome can be had for 1200 per wheel.
