Since July 17th, 2003 >> 10.5K miles
The car has been out in Europe much longer...so I'd expect the folks there to have more miles on their beasts.
31,000 miles. Took delivery in December 2002, so I've probably had mine longer than most.
Doing OK at this mileage, a few creaks and rattles that need sorting out, recurrent brake shimmy (no surprises there) and I dread to think how many litres of Optimax have been though it in those 31,000 miles.
I also have a vibration problem, that I need to get looked at (too lazy to go to the dealer too often), but I had that with the S8 and A6 before, so it's either me or the roads I drive.
Apart from that, I love this car and don't really want to think about what happens when it's time to move on - it will happen, because I won't really want the risk of a car out of warranty, but it doesn't mean I'm looking forward to it. Roll on the next-generation S8...

Think I'm taking the lead in the U.S. with total 15150 wonderful miles. Haven't had this much fun in any previous beast. Guess these Tucson trips are starting to put some miles on, but what fun it is to drive cross country in this beast!
Stopped to talk to a guy in a new GTO after a little showing off(red of course!, but not as pretty as my misano) and he was blown away by the stealth of this beast. He said, "must surprise a lot of other cars out there, including me!" The new GOAT is really a pretty car and the 350 5.6L engine sounds really sweet. You can tell it's not your ordinary Pontiac.
Like the majority of us, I too, love this RS6 beast.

I'm just toying with you guys. I'm letting you post all your limp-wristed mileages, then, BAM, I'm gonna hit ya.

I got the car last Sept. Didn't drive it much while I waited for the clear bra type stuff to be ordered then installed.
After that, the weather in the US Midwest went verry cold and snowy, in December especially, and i didn't get snows mounted on a 2nd set of wheels, since my 163,000 mile trusty "Old Girl" 1990 Audi V8 still runs well, and has all the requisite snow equipment.
Now, the weather is breaking, and so I made a run to Indianapolis and back today to knock out the last 250 or so miles to start getting into the real power.
How are the rest of the members seeing their oil consumption go?
I have the service manual on CD, and was amused by the line that says the front suspension member (?antisway) has to be loosened to access removal of the oil filter.

NYRS6, 8/15/03! I'm hoping for the summer to give my beast a break!!!!
Okay ICON, since you may wind up with the most, I think that only makes it more imperative that you get the chip first!!!
FEVR
That total includes about 6200 mi for a trip from MI to CA & back soon after I took delivery last Aug, plus 1500 mi to get from MI to FL for the winter (lucky me!). Even factoring those out, tho, I'm averaging about 1500/mo.
To address gregoryindiana's question, oil consumption has been low. I've had oil changed by dealers at 5K and 15K, per maintenance plan. I check the dipstick frequently & have never had to add. Lowest point was slightly below the middle of the acceptable range on the stick.
Back to the mileage issue: What say you, Icon? How long are you gonna keep us in suspense?!:eye:

17.2K!
An added bonus of owning an RS 6 is one becomes the permanent designated driver; my oft abused liver couldn't be happier for the reprieve.
FEVR, I just couldn't go before you, you first.
