    Proper differential fluid change

    I am doing some maintenance on my Rs6 and had a question regarding proper filling of the front differential as I have found a couple of different opinions. When refilling the front differential, do you fill it up until it starts dripping out the hole like with the rear differential. I have come across some people saying that with the front diff, it should only be filled to 6mm below the fill hole. When I opened my front diff plug to check my current level, it was dripping out once the plug was removed so I question if my front diff is overfilled or at an appropriate level.

    FWD and AWD

    – Remove filler plug for fluid fill opening (arrow).
    – Check fluid level: fluid must be filled to lower edge of filler hole.

    The picture the arrow is pointing to is of the front Diff so this is correct. Sorry, I'm running the program in a Virtual Machine and I don't know how to get pdf's out of it. Here is a pic of the page:
