And my S8 in Daytona arrives. I still have my 50k mile Avus and the Avant conversion so we shall just make it work.

Sweet S8 congrats, can you share some first impressions with the S8 coming from the RS6 into the S8 experience.

These are looking more and more attractive as the FMV depreciates.

What year did you go with? I heard not to buy the plus model from some guy who had one due to the hella expensive brake rotor replacement cost on the plus model although not sure if that is accurate (cost is only an issue in absence of value IMHO.... Any Insight on this topic appreciated

    Nistah

    thanks, I have a 13 Daytona/black w/56k. I really wanted a 13-14 because I like those head and tail lamps better than the 15+

No doubt this is a larger car but it's not too heavy. Still light on its feet and handles great. I just like the look much better than the RS7. Better price points too.

I have no need for a plus model. My APR tune takes care of all that nonsense.

We're so busy it's nuts. I bought another Q7 Tdi just because. Lol

APR downpipes and midpipes going in now. Losing the middle resonators so it should wake up the sound just a tad.

Full APR stage 2 tuning with switching maps done tomorrow.

    720/750. Watch out idjuits

From what I've read, removing the pancake resonator does nothing for sound. I removed the mufflers and put in Borla resonators in their place. So I have no cats, no mufflers, but 5 resonators...sound is PERFECT.

If it doesn't shine why bother. Avant beating the streets this week

S8 news....heat hardly slows this car down. It's brutally fast all the time. I have some forged 20inch RS7 wheels going on to lighten rotating mass from the 21s. Like it needs it but come this fall we're going for all out assault on 10.60s!
