    Replacement key fobs

Did a search, don't see anything. What's the deal here to get a used one reprogrammed? New costs?

    Thx in advance

    Caveat Empor…

I had a failing battery and took it to the service dept at Miramar Audi for a $5 battery.
Service dork was challenged in the fact of getting it from 1 piece to 3 so as to access the battery.
Then he made it 4 pieces and denied he did it as I watched him f it up.
Battery installed and paid for at 4:55PM (closing is at 5:00)
Need less to say, the car will NOT unlock nor start.
Blood starts to boil and I rip back to the service dept desk.
I inform service dork of the monstrous F up he just created.
Service manager get out there and I explain the issue.
He, being not the service dork, gets the giant Gameboy like computer and reset the immobilizer and codes the key to the car.
30 minutes later, I am relatively ready to go.

Monday AM, I get a call from the General Manager and offers a new key fob AND an oil change/filter for my trouble.
I accept the new key fob and request it be coded when I get there and I pass on the oil change/filter.
