    General question on the D4 S8, love the car and was curious about maintenance and weakest links on the platform....does this 4.0 TT eventually have the same carbon build up issue the RS4 and other new S models are experiencing. Not a deal breaker at all but good to know ahead of time, these look really attractive in the market right now!

    I've had mine for a year and a half and I've spent about $600 on maintenance and more on mods, which is just a tune and DP's. They say the turbos go bad, but mine have 80k on them and still make 21-22psi with no issues...

    Yep, APR makes a good program for the S8/RS7.

    1.7 60ft

    learned the proper launch and shift technique for this trans and picked up .2ths

    Seat of the pants. a little less TQ, but at least I can launch now...I think it's still adapting...only driven about 20 miles after the flash...

    turn off traction control in sport mode

    pull up to line and stage

    MASH the brake pedal! This activates full upshifts.

    BB GT28's w/ Tial Wastegates, Full 3" Open Exhaust, Wagners, Billet Triple Disk Converter, Built Trans, Exedy Friction Disks, ECU/TCU Tuned, 450/AEM400/1000cc/AFPR, E85, R8 Coils, Nubcake Tuned. Fastest RS6 in the USA :)
