funny, pcv was just done on mine. I pulled all the audi records before buying. Stupid audi tech left broken clips everywhere. Sum bitch

Yeah...I guess Audi gets 10hrs to do the PCV repair...I did it in 4hrs the first time...3 this time...the extra hour was getting turbos out. Not hard., just a lot of stuff in the way...Dealer wanted $10k to fix this..told them to eat bag of d*cks. I'll have it fixed for $2k and 4 hours of my time. Just conflicted on the screen. Many say just eliminate it, and do oil every 5k or so...I was doing that anyway.

Audi just extended the warranty on that PCV valve on 4.0TTs, so depending on the situation, some people may be eligible for reimbursement if they paid for replacement.

Mine failed at about 65K miles while the car was still under CPO warranty, so that's good, I guess...

So car is back up and running good. $2500 for SRM replacement turbos and TSB kit. I bought the new oil lines too, for $100, but wouldn't do that again. Mine were fine. Replaced turbos, screen and oil pressure relief valve. I was going to eliminate the screen, but elected to go ahead and install the new screen, as the original one lasted 84k miles and this one flows better and I plan to change oil every 4-5k miles now. About 4-5 hours of work all in, and worth it to save $10k. I would change this screen again in 30-40k miles.... just because.

That explains why the S8 is so dang fast with just a tune.

Plus is almost half the price of a RS7. No brainer

RS7 is only faster because it has more power to start with and is about 400lbs lighter...but I'll stick with my S8, thank you ..

Stock intakes were deteriorated beyond repair, weird because the clamps weren’t too tight.
