    Selling my Beast - advice

For those that have sold their Beasts I need some advice on where and how to get the best price. After owning her for 14+ years it is time for her to go to a new home. I am sitting just above the 100k miles and with the recent front end work she is solid. Minor wear and tear and I have a few small things to fix like headliner etc. Lots of great additions to her including the famous carbon front end spoiler. Including 4 new tires the week Where is the best place to sell her? Here? Ebay? With 12k of engine work last year and the front end work she looks good. Thanks for advice.

My Daytona sold on BaT last Fall. I think it actually went for more than what Dan ( aka Urs6Ville on here ) was asking for.

More importantly...just be 100% transparent on the condition of the RS6. Bidder's on any auction will likely respond more favorably if a seller is upfront and objective in regards to how sorted it is. This way ...Car Karma will be on your side.

FWIW, I bought Humantic's RS6 that was for sale here. It is rough cosmetically and has lots of major maintenance being done to it this month. It has decent bones and the motor pulls very good for 185K miles but it will need a RMS, Bufkin pipe, front seal, timing belt , brakes, suspension-all the front control arms are shot , front end respray , and who knows what else once we're in there. I'm looking at $$$$ for a total bill . I paid $7200 for it.

Thanks mine is very well maintained. Had an oil leak so had everything done at USP last Dec ($12K). Had a small, from a stop. fender bender in Nov and now the whole front is new and pretty. BTW fixing the damage see my previous posts on it ended up costing $24k in insurance. Crazy but it was done right. 4 brand new tires etc etc. Frankly I am going to lose a ton but i have my son driving it but a 16 year old shouldn't be driving an RS6. My fear is if anything happens to it it would be done. What would you do? Sell it to someone else to enjoy or let the boy drive it and if something happen just let it go? The only thing I have to fix is headliner and some leather wear on driver seat where you get in.

    Thanks didnt know about BaT.

BTW this is my current ride though I might flip this too. Think maybe R8 or RS7.

Sold mine after debating giving it to my 22 year old LOL.

Not a great car for a kid or young adult unless they happen to have a spare transmission in their bedroom next to their own lift and a mechanic for a friend.

Been daily driving mine for the last 3 years, - 40 to +35 deg c. Car has been amazing. I got it cheap, did a few maintenance items and run it without fault since. I have a second mint one that I keep only for nice summer days but every day I drive a 14 year old RS6.

Mine is driven 2 to 3 times a week but commute is only 11 miles. Cannot resist driving it. Equal time between the Golf R and RS6.

Sturbo... BAT is a good option. Good and knowledgeable group there, just provide as much detail as you can on the car when you list it on the auction with lots of pictures. 100k is below average mileage. Good luck!
