Had the same day a few weeks ago when my 1990 Audi V8 with 225000 on the clock and 20 years under my care rolled off to a new home. Who ever said it’s just transportation just doesn’t get it.

This will always be "the one that got away" the buyer contacted me direct and really really wanted this car. Yep it was steezie.....it's going to a good home and congrats on the new born and the RS6!!!

This was coming to AZ otherwise.

So I fiddle with my CL600 instead. My vehicles don't have paint defects!

Where in Cali are you? Handful of the beasts residing in the Bay area.
Congrats on the purchase, there is a reason some of us just cannot part with one, and hopefully that will be your experience as well.
First RS6 totaled at 142K. Now donor for S6 Avant project. Daily driver: Sepang Blue 2016 S6. Black optics, sport package. #2 Black on Black, Level 10 and Koni, Eclipse Nav + Sirius, 034 Motorsports ECU and TCU tune.

I could not deny your genuine want for the car and you you have been a member for so long.

Heck, I've lost count of how many I have owned but the two in my garage are never leaving my hands.

Well the pipeline for genuine RS6 Avants is starting to trickle.

Im actually good with my daily Cayenne diesel. Got my final VW check this week. Picked up the Cayenne from the dealer and drove straight to my buddy's APR shop and flashed it. Lol

working on my CL600 and actually looking for a SL65 to buy

@papadoc - yep! SF. Speaking of which ... any good indy recommendations? Back in the day, used to take my 2001.5 s4 to Audi Advanced (they've changed their name and location since then I think) out in the dogpatch in SF. Southern Marin works too (trying to avoid Sonnen, never had service done there but strongly prefer indy shops).

@vitalin - Car is in great shape! (15 years old and all, but clearly well loved). Here she is after stretching her legs on hwy 1:

034 Motorsport in Fremont is a great shop for Audi products and service. I ran into an issue when they lost a mechanic and had a very long delay on some service work, but otherwise they do good work and the extensive work that was done on my RS6 has been solid. They also have an ECU tune that is better than the APR tune I had on my prior RS6, if you are in the market for that. Sonu and Adil are a pleasure to work with at 034. May be a bit of an drive for you- I cross the Bay to get there- but they do good work.
