I'm wondering 'cause my tranny pan has been badly dented. So I'm wondering if there would be any chance to find a pan at a salvage yard. Or, if anyone has one they can part with???
Thanks

Audi A8/S8 up to 2003. A6 4.2, not sure about the Tip in the A6 2.7T. Used in some older BMW 5 & 7 Series, Jaguars, etc... Slightly different versions of the 5HP but probably the same pan. I do think there were two different pans used. Somebody on here might be able to post the part number or look on the bottom of your pan, should be stamped there.

I have both an S6 and an RS6 tranny sitting in the garage. I can check each if needed to see if they are the same. That aside, contacting ZF should be able to help confirm if the pan is the same for the ZF in other cars like the BMW & Jag's.
