Raves about seats but no interior pics. Such a tease.

The D2 S8 gearing combined with the higher rev limit on the S8 4.2 make it quite nimble. This is night and day difference to the S6 Avant which I hated and sold. I don't miss the RS6 when driving the S8.

Seats. Lol they are soft and keep you planted at the same time. 100% better than US RS6 seats and 50% better than euro spec RS6 seats. I wish I could put S8 seats in all my RS6s. I have the euro RS6 seats in one of my cars but these S8 are better by a ton.

I agree 100% on the seats. That's my favorite part of the whole car.

I may pickup a set of black Recaro S8 seats and try fitting them in the RS6. It's basically the euro RS6 seat with softer leather and more cushioning. Wait, I don't need to tell you all my plans because all the black S8 seats on the market are going to vanish now.

    Doh

I've already tried to source a set a few times over the years, but it's proven to be elusive and cost prohibitive.

Well that would not surprise me.

There are fewer D2 S8s in the US over a 3yr span than even RS6s

I've got an extra set of fronts and can maybe get you some pictures of the frames later this week. memory tells me that the swap into a C5 chassis will not be easy but nothing is ever impossible.

I saw a D2 S8 in Avus in Lynnwood, WA at The Old Spaghetti Factory!
I was about to yell out the window if it was for sale but he was driving away.

    Interior leather was black...
