Hey hey hey, just wanted to come by and say hi!

Long time no see to all my RS6 brethren! Missed you guys and wanted to see how everyone was doing. I miss my RS6 like crazy and wish I would have just done the manual conversion and slapped some big ass turbos on it. I bought that CL65 and was the first in the world to do a built trans, custom rear and some big arse turbos but even pushing nearly 1000HP it was still a pig out of the hole at 5180lbs. Could only ever get an 11,1 @ 131 out of it (18 times in a row it did 11.11-11.14). Thing would hit 220 like nothing but the RS6 was just soooooo much more playful. The CL you just mash the right pedal, adjust the seat massager, change the radio station, ask the passenger what to do for dinner, notice you were swinging past 200MPH and then here them mumbel "whatever" for food. It was just too dang civilized. Zero feedback where as the RS6 talked to you and let you know what was going on.
I think I will get another RS6 cause I really did love that machine and so many here were super nice and helpful in my endeavors with the machine. Now I know to be more realistic with it and know 600ish is a good sweet power number for it.

Things for me are about the same. My shop is doing well. I am getting married in January to the love of my life I have known for over 20 years. Got a C5 Vette thats getting a 1500hp drivetrain being built as we speak. Still got the truck. Still have boxes of RS6 parts. As far as I know its new owner is still in love with it. lol

So how are all you guys doing? DHall still have a massive collection? Cmnair still have that beautiful machine of yours I always lusted after? lswing, you still the destroyer of transmissions? Anyone make some serious HP breakthroughs? Everyone still have heir RS? I miss much while I was gone?
I still miss Daz. He sure was one great dude not only for his RS6 knowledge but just a good dude. I have his stickers up at my shop and one on the home computer. lol

Hi Bill! Good to see you here again! Is that C5 going to be supercharged? F1R centrifugal? Still miss my C5 Z06. Yeah still have my RS6 refreshed with Euro headlights and tail lights, Euro 19s and new door cards.

Much lighter car and that 8 speed makes a HUGE difference over the 5 speed in the V12 cars. Kinda wish I would have gone with the CL63. Much cheaper and all the same power potential.

Cool! Are you going with one of the A&A or ECS supercharger kits? I had an ECS 1500 kit on my C5 Z06 with methanol injection.

A&A. YSi with a little case work done and billet internals and a flip drive. Doing a 402 or 406 iron block, TF 265 heads, custom cam, RPM stage 6 trans, RPM stage 4 rear both with cryogen treatment, RPM axles, 3.5" prop shaft, tripple disc clutch, dual nozzle Alky system, 1650cc injectors, soild prop shaft couplers and a few other things. I am trying to get some 15" spindles right now so I can run 15" wheels with slicks. I just got in my True Forged Sleepers in 18" and have a matching pair of 17" ones for the 305/45/17 drag radials. Car should be right at 1100rwhp with all supporting components able to handle 1500-2000hp. So in a 3180lb car (without me) it should be a little fun.

Hey Bill!!! How you be? I'm surprised that CL wouldn't do better? My 05 SL65 went 10.99/127.6mph first time out with just a Eurocharged tune and DR's...I guess that CL IS heavier...the SL was "only" 4700 lbs with me...

Had I of gone with an 03-06 CL65 it would have done 9's but the electronics in the W216 are far more advanced and restrictive. The 2011+ cars are even more nuts. Mine was the first "successful" tune in the world. Its also the fastest face lift W216 in the world and the most powerful. It was still hindered by the electronics and the 5180lb weight. Had I spent another 5k on a stand alone we could have unlocked more. Also had I spent $5000 on an E85 flex fuel setup we could have gained another 150 hp. But after a $3000 AC compressor, $3000 in front brakes and various other things I decided I would go back to my roots and just do a car I am comfertable with and can work on without issue. Hell I just did ceramic Baer rotors and EBC pads on the Vette for under $600. lol If its AC had failed it would have ran me $180 and I could have fixed it in an hour. I love Euro stuff but for pure power I am going back to American stuff.
I do still want another RS6 though but wont mod as much. Just a tune (should I be able to find a tuner now that Daz is gone ) and maybe exhaust and trans tune and leave it at a comfertable 450 AWHP.

Also I should point out the track we rented is notorious for being .2 slower than Ennis. Its a slight uphill track and always a bad DA. So the car should do a 10.9X at Enis but should be deep into 10s with E85
