    Brake size

Just wondering if anybody managed larger discs up front with stock 18" wheels, and
stock calipers, DSC ride height ?

I have 380x36's from the A8 on mine.
You need 6mm spacers under the calipers and longer caliper bolts. Touareg bolts fit fine, I can look up part numbers.
However, brake pads don't cover the whole disk area, so you win only leverage. Plus those disks are way cheaper. Heavier than stock, though.

Not 100% certain that stock wheels will fit over this setup, but if you have ~1cm to spare (caliper-wheel radially), then I don't see a reason why not.

Another option would be to get SQ5 calipers for those disks - those are lighter, get better brake pad coverage, and will definitely fit the stock wheel. Also lighter than ours (so will somewhat offset heavier disk).
