Hello all. I picked up a secondary air pump from Autohaus. They had a couple listed as compatible with the RS6, so
I picked the less expensive model but the thing is probably not compatible with our car. It has an input and output and the wire plugs in on the bottom surface. I can return it easy enough but figured I ask who has replaced this and what was the process.
I can see three bolts holding the mount for the pump which apparently bolts to the frame from the under side at three points which are on spring loaded attachment points. The mount bracket is captivated by some other hardware so I am no sure it will come out easily.
Captive here, not pipe which is pretty fixed in place.
