    That's quite easily done, but I believe OP wants the system to remain operational?
    Besides, if it keeps throwing the DTC, something else might be not right.

    But yea, I can trick the ECU into believing the SAI works as well.

    Mike, do you have a stock binary in there or some kind of a tune?

    I will get into testing it next weekend, hopefully can be free of snow for a while. I drive my M2 in the snow, but if we had a bad storm I wanted the RS6 for that! So once the weather clears I can starting taking things apart (potentially leaving the car unprovable for a few days).

    I need to install a new A/C compressor and was also planning on DIY that.

    I had done the Vacuum Pump test thing before and as far as I could tell it tested ok. Pump the brake, etc, and the pressure was in spec. I replaced the Secondary pump and the solenoid blindly, but no dice.

    stock ECU, but MTM TCU

    So I have been simply waiting until the secondary air pump stops running before driving off. The CEL is not showing.

    I wasted about 500 bucks in parts so far.

    ?look for real cause, or just ignore and do the above! No CEL means I'll pass inspection. LOL Due in about 8 months.
