Welcome, did you purchase it in Boise? Post the last 6 of your VIN and there is someone on here that has a list of VIN's, he might have some history on if for you. You out there Dave?

Would you mind pm'ing me mileage and price you paid, I'd really like a gauge of what these are transacting at private party (I have mind loosely for sale). Congrats on the purchase.
RS6 #1 904959, Daytona, Silver, tons of "stuff," went through puddle, dead engine, end of #1 for me, rebuilt by local enthusiast and thriving.
RS6 #2 904568, Avus, Ebony, no stuff, stock minus RNS-E.

Nice, I have heard they do good work. I am hoping to be able to do most of the work on mine. I have a lift and Vag Com cable so its just a matter of getting familiar with the vehicle.

Hey a MN RS6! I believe I've seen that one at a Cars & Coffee meet. Congrats on the purchase!

Just curious, what are your thoughts on the v10 S8?

Once I have some extended experience around the RS6 I will offer a fair comparative. However I loved the S8 one of the best cars I have ever owned.

You'll have to tell me how they compare because I was considering going to a D3 S8 if I replaced the RS6.

From my short experience in an RS6 prior to this one I am still awaiting arrival - http://imgur.com/a/Auz4T

I would liken the S8 to executive speed. Has nice amenities Air ride, adaptive cruise and more room then the RS6 however it does not have near the peppiness or the response in corners as it is substantially heavier. My daily is a 16 F-350 so I personally was looking for something different. S8 makes a great daily car and maintenance was not horrendous and I found it incredibly easy to work on. Only advice regarding the S8. Get the Milltek exhaust, V10 with Milltek is the best combination I have found - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJKvIBhILZw

NICE! Matches your garage very well. Speaking of which, what kind of floor is that?

These are Swiss Trax flooring, my brother is a seller/installer for them so my garage, shop and hanger have them all installed.

    the color combo is perfect.

Shes pretty on the outside. Has some daddy issues from the previous owner. Going to take a while to get it to compete with the likes of you.
