That AMG may be nice but give me a proper RS6 survivor.

I find myself wanting to keep #1 and 3 in the current state of tune and drive them from time to time just to keep the servicing and seals in order. #6 may stay in the fleet as the project mule and I will keep a fast daily around like the AMG.

That's a beauty, Dave. The market for these will continue to shrink as time goes on, but I would bet the sales price plateaus at worst, especially for well kept cars like yours. While we all know the foibles of the RS6, the engine is bulletproof, and with proper care will bring smiles for many years. 500+ HP tends to do that!
First RS6 totaled at 142K. Now donor for S6 Avant project. Daily driver: Sepang Blue 2016 S6. Black optics, sport package. #2 Black on Black, Level 10 and Koni, Eclipse Nav + Sirius, 034 Motorsports ECU and TCU tune.

I have to admit, it's irritating to see 1st generation M3s go for stupid money. But then again, while our RS6s are rare and overall are high performing cars with that bulletproof engine, it's not the FIRST RS car. RS2s command very high prices IIRC.

ALTHOUGH....the C5 RS6 was the first RS model offered in the US. That oughta count for something in this market :/

For whatever reason the C5 RS6 (whether unfairly or not) does not seem to have the cachet of some of the other rarer cars, even with the limited numbers here and worldwide (I think about 8000 total)? The later gen RS cars are being built in larger numbers.

I don't know where you buy these anymore. Both of my rides here have the smoked Hella's. Look great on the black and charcoal paint, and okay on silver. Not so good on red, or blue IMO.

Yea i seen them on blue and didn't like it, so i agree with you.

I'll stick to the red/clear led's on my blue.

Yep,I have been looking for them for my Ebony RS6. Found these, but there is no picture available on website and sales rep can't confirm.

The smoked set is still available from Hella for the sedan. This is a valid Hella Part Number and a few tuning shops in Germany claim to have them in stock. Just do a google search on the part number.

Most of these tuning shops will post stuff to the us if you ask nicely...
