Nobody on this planet has 690hp and still uses rear O2 sensors to monitor their catalysts

agreed that this post is from someone who knows little about the car but i find the mileage comment inaccurate.

one thing i have noticed on this forum is that low mileage cars are often the worst examples. countless car that have been "babied" only to have sent the owner into bankruptcy with just 50k on them. i would look for a higher mileage car, because you know most of the problems have been fixed. just my 2c.

I agree this is hilarious. But someone should beat that dealer up and buy it nonetheless. It is a one owner with a rare color combo and an APR exhaust and it looks to be in good shape...that is enough to get me interested.
RS6 #1 904959, Daytona, Silver, tons of "stuff," went through puddle, dead engine, end of #1 for me, rebuilt by local enthusiast and thriving.
RS6 #2 904568, Avus, Ebony, no stuff, stock minus RNS-E.

I bought one with 20k.....been the best car I have ever owned.

I bought #2 with 30k.......been the second best car I have ever owned.

Both cars babied and 100% stock at the time of purchase.

    Last check...I'm not going bankrupt

last check......I spend less on maint than a typical Prius owner that services at the dealer

but what the hell do I know. I have lost count of the RS6s I have owned.

I'm with Dave on this. Bought mine with 18K. I've done a lot of work on it but nothing ever failed. All ended up being preventative while I was doing one thing or another I let my preventative side takeover. Even my original DRC was good when Audi replaced it and screwed up the ride height but by then I had already decided I wanted the little bit lower look I could get with Coilovers (KWV3).
Started by breaking a Downpipe stud trying to pull them to gut them. Ended up with Milltek's, EGT's, O2's, had the tranny & TC rebuilt, all new seals and hoses. Sure I'm missing something. I did the labor but the parts came to about $9K.
