It looks like the first log has a bit more timing across the entire rev range compared to the log done after the reset.
I do see what you're saying, the timing seems to be more then less, then more again then less etc like every 50 rpm... not sure what that would indicate though.
A consistent increase or decrease across the rev range as a whole would be ideal, correct?
You will not get a fault code on that, you have to log "ignition retard" on all cylinders when you drive and see how much ignition retad you have.
I can have up to 3 degress but that is with 1bar boost and above 5000rpm.

^^^That's a good point on the timing jumping around more than it should. I just looked back over an old log, posted below, running a bit more boost. The timing always moves around some, but not to the extent yours does. I see numbers on yours jumping from 12 to 5 then back to 12 as an example. Maybe the cam adjusters are getting worn and not being accurate? Would air getting in somewhere in the system throw the timing off? Or poor fuel causing imperfect detonation? Maybe a plug or coil pack starting to get a little finicky? Just thoughts...
