    Its perfect.

    You have 93 octane fuel?

Thats good timing for the amt of boost.

    I like it

One thing I do notice is that both runs after the sec cats removed seems down a tiny bit on max boost but also that the boost seems to came on about 200rpm slower. Course sure there are many variables but other than slight increase in air temp runs were identical except the sec cats gone.

Yep 93. But thinking about heading to track this weekend and getting a few gallons of race fuel for the heck of it.

Looking good. Seems to not be in Turbo mode so it's tough to see nuances, bit chunky in RPM blocks, but fine. If you do get logs again grab block 112, it would be interesting to see how hot the EGT is running.

Really nice timing. Good boost. Would probably handle a bit more. Meth injection would make a noticeable difference.

I'm a little surprised the mass air flow didn't really increase after the main cat was removed. I know it sounds a bit different, but does it FEEL faster?

I've drive this tune for over 5 years now and can confirm that yes - it not only feels a bit quicker - it is a bit quicker once you gut your downpipes. The results improve with water/meth injection for sure and also improve when you introduce race gas in to the equation. The boost is optimal for the K04 compressors. More boost equals more heat which quickly hampers the end results. The tune strikes a nice optimal balance IMO.

good to know. To be clearer, I was wondering the difference between pipes with gutted pre cats, and fully gutted. Op said he already had the pre cat gutted. Tim, can you comment on that or have you always been fully gutted? I have the pre cats gutted now and am wondering if it's worth it to go fully gutted....

Well it is hard to tell how much the gutted precats gave alone as I did the ECU burn at the same time. Losing the sec cats... It seems a little quicker but it might be wishful thinking. 10-15HP or so is what Marc thought I would pick up. Kinda hard to feel 10 hp. I think it's the sum of all the parts that gets them to fly.

364.08 is the highest reading you will see for our Mass flow's combined. The ECU will not read any higher, that is the upper limit. How the ECU adjust the fueling for a lean condition when you are flowing more I don't know. Maybe somebody more knowledgable with the ECU's can answer that. Or do the individual readings go higher, I can't remember?

Individual readings go higher. Each one will go to 364.08. Is log block 2. Just need to add them together

I can tell. Especially in higher rpm. 4th gear above 130 is pretty impressive. It sounds nicer too

What do you guys use when you remove the main (rear) cats?, do you get an exhaust shop just to throw some old straight pipe in there or is there a good stainless pipe you can get somewhere ?
