Need advice on where to get some parts...

Specifically, I'm needing a new radiator, and both entire tie-rod assemblies.

The dealership wants $1222CDN for the radiator (after my discount), and $244CDN (after discount (EDIT: this was just for outer)) for the tie-rod ends (inner and outer).

As this RS6 is brand new to me, and a driver, not a collector car, I'm thinking I'll go aftermarket if anyone has solid recommendations.

    Thanks!

I get parts from all of these places based on price, availability, and manufacturer. FCP is probably my favorite as they offer a lifetime warranty on all the parts they sell.

You can always check availability for parts online at www.autopartsway.ca before resorting to a US distributor where you'll be bilked with the exhange rate, high shipping costs, and hidden third party customs clearance fees. For the rad, why not take it out and to a rad shop. Guaranteed to be less than new.... Nothing special about the tie-rods. Standard VW/Audi spec that fit a host of models. Get them locally from your Parts Source, Canadian Tire, NAPA, or the like.
    '02 S6 Avant Silver - Pokey | Carbon Black/Ebony RS6 w/ stuff - darn quick | '03 Daytona Grey/Ebony RS6 w/ more stuff - quicker yet | '91 NSX CDN issue with 6spd & BBSC - quicker yet and then some | '87 Buick GNX OEM clone w/ lots of stuff - quickest hands down

Great call, Bigglezworth! On all counts.

I just purchased the tie rod assemblies autopartsway.ca, and I'm having my mechanic pull the radiator and taking it to a local rad repair shop.

This should save me enough money to purchase the stereo headunit that I want. I've decided against the RNS-E.
