    After installing new rotors and pads last night and doing a full hands on inspection I am at a complete loss as to how I can install these downpipes. Do you have to drop the subframe and tweak the motor in the cradle?

    Yes.

    It is not a fun job to do in-car, but can be done.

    Need to lower subframe to tip rear of engine down for access.

    Oxy-acetylene torch, long extension and triple square socket.

    And lots of patience.

    I'd also have new hardware handy.

    How long did if take to swap the downpipes? Also have you noticed a big change in the sound of the exhaust and performance gains?
