Where does Audi put the battery on the Avant's?

It's clearly not in the cargo area taking up unnecessary space like it does on the sedan, so where is it placed? Is it as simple as getting a kit for an Avant to relocate the beast in the sedans?

In etka you can find the factory brackets that put the battery in the spare tire well for the avants.

I am sure, just like the sedans the brackets are spot welded to the car and then running new cables to the battery location

There's a toolkit that fits in the remainder of the space, too.

Yup no spare. It's the same for sedans in Europe too.

See the bottle in the plastic bag? That is a bottle of sealant. The item directly above that is the inflator pump. To fix a flat tire you put the sealant in and air it up to get you to the tire shop in the next town. I'm not sure what happens when you have a blowout or the tire carcass fails..
