Essen 2003: Pics of Goodwood Green RS6

This color looked great in the spotlights.
However, yesterday I drove an S4 Tiptronic in the same color and it looked more like military green in the darkness.

Note the audio / visual options.

Saw a Goodwood Green RS6 Avant in Milan during my visit last month. Here is how it looks in natural daylight (overcast skies). A bit dull I must say, but carries the understated look very nicely. :trans:

Like black it seems to need constant cleaning.

And direct sun- or spotlight is very helpful to help the color.

Btw, here's the Champion Racing RS6. Notice the side pipes.

    Floor mats would be nice.

So would the 19 inch wheels.

And for me, at least, front spash guards, though apparently those can't be had anywhere.

The video setup certainly looks cool, though it would be wasted on me. No kids, and the view up front is much better. While I'm complaining, the better Euro Nav system would have been nice. That I would have paid for.

How hard can it be to figure out that you don't tell people who paid plus or minus $90K for a car that you won't sell them stuff that would otherwise be legal in their country, and that you have already gone to the trouble to fit to the car for everyone else?? The Recaro seat option would fall under this category also.

Those complaints aside, I love my RS6.

FWIW, This car is not Goodwood Green. I have a Goodwood Green RS6 and I've seen this green on other Audis. They are not the same. The Goodwood Green is closer to British Racing Green in overall hue with a gold metallic.

When was this show ? The RS6 went out of production years ago so why are they still "showwing" it ?
This is an amazing example though, i love the leather combo.

Sorry for resurrecting such an old thread. I was searching Goodwood Green for photos and vin research. Since this thread has been used for a few guys who were considering the color, I wanted to give them a "heads up" that this (beautiful) car is not quite it. The Green in Bingocaller's Avatar is closer to Goodwood Green in reality.

It's a shame but Green has grown unpopular in recent years, because it is a truly beautiful colour, especially on anything remotely sporty.
Search and you will find the truth.
