Are alcons really better than the stock 8 piston brakes?

if your car isn't over heating before it went completely bad, I would just replace it with a stock radiator.

Look up custom radiator builders. I was looking at custom oil/trans fluid coolers that were bigger, lots of space there, a few have done it. Nice ride!

Does your car have the hot weather pack?

I would stick with stock. It's designed to run 180 on the autobahn...good enough for me

My Alcons are 6 pistons. The last time I had to replace the rings, StaSis took over 3 months to get me replacement rings. I ended up having to contact Alcon USA. Alcon USA was not overly responsive. However; I now have some rings on the shelf for back stock.

I had a radiator issue recently and went back with stock. Somehow, it appears the brace rubbed against it enuff to spring a substantial leak. The only overheating I've had is when there has been a coolant issue/leak. I have pushed it a few times..;0

is that right? I have no clue and was a pure guess.

OP - have you thought of changing the temp sensor? Also what about switch operated fans? Flush the coolant?

I really think if you have an overheating problem, it's not the radiator. These cars are not known for radiator issues

As they said. The stock cooling system is good. If you have a N. American spec car then it should have the main and both side radiators which keeps the RS6 cool enough in the Mideast. GIAC is fine for 1.8t's, maybe 2.7t's, but has been found to be junk for the RS6. One last complaint, at least in the last 10 yrs Level 10 has been known to be sketchy on quality on pretty much any forum, just do a Google search. Don't believe what the manufacturers sites say, see what the customers say on the forums.
