    201403 msrc

Last Friday morning, my weekend cleared up. I called The Driver's Edge and asked if they had any openings for their MSRC weekend. I expected a "Sorry- better luck next time". To my surprise, a spot was open. Thus; the process began around noon to prepare the car, load it up on the trailer, and make the 7 hour commute. I arrived around midnight on Friday. Unloaded the car early Saturday morning, and was at the driver meeting at 8:00 for too much fun.

This was my third time to run this configuration. It is a challenging configuration for our heavy cars. However; it is a over two tons of fun making the car rotate.

It was a good week- 3 days at CoTA and 2 days at MSRC..;0

Below was a fun session- leaders of da pack. The vette I point by was faster than me all weekend. ;( I'll get him next time with some mo practice and skill development. ;0

Thanks for sharing, that looks like a lot of fun. It's great to see this car being tossed around like that at the track.
You seem to be a very skilled driver.

^Thanks for the kind comment. I'm obviously just a hack. It is very humbling when I have the opportunity to see some drivers with mad hatter skills. They just simply amaze me with their car control and ease of effort. It is the same feeling I have when I encounter golfers that somehow magically pound the ball with ease- and have reality smash me in the face about my own golf game. However; both sports are a blast to develop and share experiences with friends.

That was very impressive the way you haul two tons around the track. Especially in the corners compared to the smaller cars where they are supposed to have the advantage. The Nissan 370Z did a better job following than leading. HaHa.
