That's frickin ridiculous. Lock him up for the rest if his life. It's also unbelievable that this douchbag and his wife aren't dead from that impact.

And think of the victim, trapped inside his car fully engulfed in flames -- what an awful way to die. I hope he was already unconscious or dead from the impact.

Jeeez- Why did he not just jump off a cliff to cull the gene pull? It is so sad another innocent life was taken from a family, friends, and our world. ;(

States keep letting bills pass for legal pot smoking. Whats next? Shall we make meth legal and let folks drive? Roads are dangerous....drive defensive and always have a escape path. When I drive in traffic its almost always in the far right or far left lane and I always leave a escape route for emergency exit stage left. Remember that.

It really feels like Seattle has had quite a few fatal accidents recently. So annoying to know these can be prevented. Seems odd that the two people in the Audi didn't die. At those speeds without seatbelts (at least that is what is being reported) it is crazy. Reminds me of this guy without the accident http://seattletimes.com/html/localne...arrest24m.html

Huh? Are you equating pot to meth?

No matter the drug, this guy was clearly a nutball...and hitting the heavy junk doesn't help. The WA pot laws are actually decent, treating it like booze, no smoking or being stoned when driving. Really just a tragic story.

Edit; guy deserves life or worse, really tired of our soft treatment of criminals.

The problem with the Washington Pot laws, and treating it like is a DUI, they legalized it without coming up with an idea for the test or amount required to be convicted?

    Exactly.

We let the bar slide so what's next. In 10 years medical meth gets voted.

Driving under the influence of anything is life threatening. We pass these "laws" but the stupid people don't think there are consequences?
