    Need C5 RS6 coil springs

    Hi guys,

I'm looking for C5 RS6 stock coil springs.

I have removed DRC last year and installed Bilstein B14 PSS....
But the ride is too low and now making a lot of noises and I can't tolerate any more.
So I am planning to put KONI Yellow (or FSD) with stock springs.

The problem is that I live in Japan and the coil springs need to be shipped to Japan.

I've tried to find them in Japan but I couldn't (I gues we don't have many C5 RS6s in Japan), so I need help from you guys.

    Please help.

I like the setup a lot, maybe one click from soft. Mine are softest, still feels firm, but a touch more in the corners could be nice. Although sway bars made a world of difference there.

I've seen a few cars being parted out this month, just scroll down through the threads. Cheers!

    Thanks, Iswing

I really hope someone has the coil springs.

But if I won't be able to find any, does anybody know which after market coil spring provide highest (I don't mean higher than stock ride height) ride height?

By the way, I use to live in Corvallis, OR for about 6 years and enjoyed life in Oregon a lot!!

    Best regards

This forum is excellent, saved me many times.

The Koni's on softest are a firm ride, but occasionally I get a bit more bounce, so thinking one click more would increase rebound and tune that down a bit.

Again, really happy with the sway bar upgrade for keeping the car level in sweeping corners, for $500 really worth it.

I really think this forum is great.
I bought AUDI parts from the US many times since parts prices are ridiculously expensive in Japan. A Brake rotor is more than $1K!!
I'm sure that I'm interested in Hotchikis, but considering the size of the bars, shipping may be quite expensive, right?
$500 for the Hotchikis and $300 for shipping, maybe.
I will check and see if I can afford it.

By the way, does anyone have experience with KONI FSD?
At least KONI says only good things about FSD.

Not as bad as me ordering the genuine TRD parts from Japan back in the day. The US spec TRD parts were garbage. There was a dealer here that would order anything I wanted direct from Japan. 2 to 3 month wait sometimes but the stuff got here. Lots of GroupA parts on my Supra.

I think shipping from Japan to US isn't so bad.
My family lives in the US so I often ship stuff from Japan.
I usually use EMS which takes 4 to 7 days to get there and it can handle up to 30kg (=66lbs)

If you are interested here's price list for EMS from Japan to the World:
    http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/cha...ms_all_en.html

As long as you know the TRD part number, I can get it and ship it for you, if you are interested.

    Thanks, Primo.
Congratulations for your putting KW's on your toy!!

At this moment, alrightroad (thread #4) is helping me out by going through all the trouble checking the shipping cost for me.
But if it won't work (I sure hope it will), I will ask help from you.

Thank you again for posting information.

    You guys are great!!

Since the OP found some springs I am not going to feel too bad about going off topic.

No kidding? It was just a car that made such raw power with relative ease. And it was fairly reliable power. Not as refined as some of the other cars I have had but good for its strengths. I had "de-90'd" a lot of it though with recovered seats and TRD wheel. So it felt newer. Ended up selling it for CA smog law reasons and got my first and last BMW (M5). Never do that again.

Here are a couple of pics of mine before I sold it.
