    Question RS6 Exhaust

    I want some louder growls from my RS6, should I go with the Dahlbäck custom exhaust or the Milltek one?

    http://www.dahlbackracing.se/english/main.asp (You might have to select Audi -> RS6 -> 450hk -> Exhaust)

    http://www.millteksport.com/exhaust....m?variantid=22

    Which one would you choose?

    PS: Money is not an issue...

    Hit up RSSIK on the forums and ask him to send you a sound clip of his custom exhaust.....it totally makes all the other mentioned exhausts here sound like Honda Civics....lol.

    I'll be buying them straight of Milltek I guess, the fee that the swedish company wanted for the pipes is outrageous...

    Plenty of choices, resonated, non-res, high-flow cats, etc.

    Just recieved another email from the swedish tuning company again now, turns out they want even more cash for the job, and this does not include fitting new downpipes, as he said he wouldn't recommend that, becasue it involved lifting up the engine, and that would be VERY expensive.

    (I thought it already was VERY expensive....)

    Money is not really an issue, but I'm not paying over 45.000 SEK (approx 6600 US$ / £4200) for a Milltek exhaust.

    Sounds like a rip-off to me.

    ^Just wait until you have to pull the engine for something else (aka oil cooler leak, starter, transmission, change the oil (just kidding but seems like it). Yeh- I wouldn't do it just for the Milltek system. I was out essentially the cost of the down pipes and exhaust as I had it done when I had turbos replaced. Since they had to remove the stuff anyway, it wasn't any additional labor expense to have it installed.

    Money is always an issue if u ask me...;0
