    "brake" warning light on dash?

when I start my car these days, which is about once a week (I ride my bikes most of the time), the car turns over and barely catches, then dies. I shut it off and start again, where it fires up normally, except a warning beep comes from the dash and a red "brake" flashes in the instrument cluster.

I suspect this may have something to do with low-ish battery power, but why would it flash "brake"? It doesn't do that at any other time.

Those small batteries only hold so much, trickle charger seems good if you're only starting once a week. With the cold weather (40 degrees), I've noticed after just two days of sitting my PC925 doesn't have full cranking power, and reads about 12 volts instead of 14 until it gets warmed up.

Hope it's just the low power pissing off a sensor?
