    Dear ben916,

talking about the Dollar factor... you might already know, the Audi factory (San José Chiapa, Mexico) construction contract has been approved. Production start (planed as of today: Audi Q5 and Audi A4) is scheduled for early 2016. The factory design has the capability to build the whole range of MLB based products and provides an opportunity to add the MQB and MSB plattforms by demand.

Most likely the Dollar factor will lose its severity, good for both US customers and Audi.

Looks really plain in the dark color, how much wider are the wheel fenders? They dont look that wide...

I really hope they would show the RS7 and it will have 5 seats as option, looking good so far.

just catching up and summarizing salient (well, to me anyways) points:
    - 560bhp...good enough I suppose
    - suspension choices are DRC (time bomb) or air suspension (think Audi was able to get it right when M-B couldn't?) really, would it be so hard to just install magnetorheological dampers like Cadillac? Ferrari? Who else does these? Oh right, AUDI.

I'm sure it'll go like stink though; power through a fast shifting transmission with a lot of gears can make for quick acceleration - I guess that's the point of an 8-gear automatic; very low gearing for quick acceleration, yet enough ratios to have a high enough top gear for top speed.

At the moment it looks like AoA is waiting for the local market acceptance after the introduction of the Audi RS 7 (original Audi RS 6 |C5| Sedan customers will be contacted). If the interest is less than expected, AoA has a problem. If so the quattro GmbH might get the green light for engineering a Audi RS 6 Sedan to be introduced with the upcoming A6 facelift scheduled for 2014. However this is prospective...

The good thing is the early introduction of both the Audi RS 6 Avant and the upcoming Audi RS 7. This will give a timeframe to adjust the lineup if needed.

Personally i like the idea to bring a few Audi RS 6 Avant over and add them to scheduled Audi customer experience days.

    Already a facelift?

The first deliveries will be in July 2013 and in 2014 they do a facelift?

    Mah...

It will be an heavy facelift?

    Qisha,

If you have contacts to those who decide the main scheme, please convey the desire of many of us that we REALLY HOPE THE RS7 will have an optional 5th SEAT as the standard A7 sportback has. This is the biggest problem I have with my Panamera and the only 5 seater non SUV non wagon AWD sporty car seems to be an AMG Mercedes. I think many 4 seater car owners share my view. By not having this option, you will lose customers. It doesnt need to be the best seat in the car, but we do need the seat belt. Those who dont need it just wont tick the option. And trust me, not many of us who love fast cars, but dont need a wagon, will buy one.

    Thanks!
