    RS6 Motor fs

Got this motor off Craigslist about 2 months ago for a B6 swap project but honestly I'm worried if I'll have the time and this motor would be sitting for a minimum of 6 months. Comes with just about everything minus the inlets and bi-pipe.

Best offer takes it, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

I wish you the best of luck with the sale. Would be great for the right project car.

From the bit of reading I did the swap would require firewall modification to the S6, which is not something I wouldn't want to get into.

Check this thread. It might not be as terrible as stated, but I'd like to know exactly how terrible it is before buying a new motor.

Although, if the price is low enough...

Completely understand. Read up on what Scott was talking about... he doesn't go into too much detail. Some studs shouldn't be a big deal... Not even sure what these motors go for, but I could use the money, let me know if you're serious about it. BTW, was your GTI the one at SoWo?

I have to see if this motor or a 2.7TT would make more sense for my S6. Cost-wise the 2.7TT would be better, but the RS6 motor is just awesome.

Yup, that is my GTI. I spun a rod bearing out of my own stupidity so I'm pulling the motor again. I only got 3,000 miles on a freshly built motor!

Soo you thought this could be dropped into a B6 easily? Cause to me it seems everyone thinks it is nearly impossible to put it in a C5 S6, which is what i want, although it could make a damn sexy B7 'RS4 plus' especially with a big tune...

Yes it can be done easily. I have no doubts, just don't have the time or desire to do it anymore
