Sounds like a brand new S-Tronic not shared with other Audis? Overall the changes give the R8 a sharper more chiseled look and I bet it dates the original R8 when seen side by side (with DRL on)
This was happy news! Especially the S-Tronic..
exciting that it'll keep it fresh and hopefully be compared to the latest 911 turbo later this year. thenew plus models will infuriate current GT owners. the weight loss is significant and i think those accel numbers are very conservative. i expect 0-60 times of 3.0 seconds for the s-tronic with launch control in the plus model. overall a nice little segeway into the the all new car in a couple of years. 200 lbs weight loss for the V10 with just a few changes means the all new car will be insane.

That blue is fantastic, have not yet read the article but 200lbs is almost 100 kilo which is just a staggering weight loss, as RXBG says...GT owners will have the fury of a thousand suns.

Damn that Sepang blue looks cool in matte.. And the R8 as well, even though it's been around for some years now. It still looks so fresh and modern.
