Which to choose PES, APR, MTM?

Looking for a supercharger for my B7 RS4

    PES: 13k = 520 hp, 426 tq (http://pes-tuning.com/)
    APR: 15k = 590 hp, 454 tq (http://www.goapr.com/products/stage3_b7_rs4.html)
    MTM: ?k = 535 hp, 599 Nm (http://www.horchaus.com/Project_RS4_535.html)

    Any others I'm missing?

APR seams to be the choice but I have very limited knowledge regarding all that.
Comments & personnal experiences are welcome

If you know reliable installers in the Montréal vicinity, let me know.

    Thanks

I think you need to go to a local installer .... and then talk to the last client

    Also checkout MRC tuning UK

I would go for MTM, just because of the Bimota wheels! J/K in all seriousness I think Mr. Balsen could help your out on this.

    Saludos!

    Thanks guys for your replies

MRC looks pretty good but I can't find a dealer near my place (I'm near Montreal, QC, Canada)

Ben916, can you provide a link to the article?

    Regards

MRC use a TTS supercharger, it is 600 BHP and has the 1/4 mile record for the B7 RS4, 0-60 in 3.3 seconds and 11.4 seconds. I'm not sure if TTS have a supplier in North America, but a guy on 246 that has had a few supercharger kits reckons the TTS one is the best of the lot.

Do you remember seeing a RS6 on the top of that mountain pass in Colorado? 2008. Nice to see you still have your car. Small world.

As for your question. PES is a POS. APR makes great products. Last time I checked the MTM was 25k. Way too much

    Good luck

Yes, the best of them all: http://www.a5oc.com/forums/s5-perfor...er-update.html

This is why i am fitting it with them, partly so i can give them a hands on guide on how the kits should be fitted and partly so i can take any photos I am missing for the manual.

The s5 kit is not far behind for general release but here is some nice supercharger porn to keep you all going. Hopefully the photos should speak volumes about the high quality of this kit

Rs4 engine bay install with anodised plenum chamber (all production kits will be in dark grey xylan coating as below)

full RS4 kit contents (except the manual and fuel pumps as there not here till tue next week)

xylan coated plenum chamber assembly, for those of you unfamiliar with this coating it is essentially like a thin ptfe coating that is very very tough, very heat resistant and will not stain with oils ect. Its the bee's knees!

    Supercharger in position

The new production plenums have had the front water outlet moved to the side position for a cleaner appearance

cnc machined logo in the coated cover

a small peak in at the duel charge coolers

The main plenum assembly and manifolds striped down to component form. That’s ALLOT of machining

bespoke 8 rib pulley system for ultimate belt strength and durability

bespoke stainless steel high pressure fuel line system

bespoke cnc machined and fabricated air inlet pipe for the supercharger

Bespoke charger cooler radiator. Supplied in plain aluminium or black coated for the ultimate stealth look

Nickel plated stainless steel mounting brackets for the charge cooler radiator (note the rubber mounts to allow for different rates of expansion between the two radiators. this means no cores cracking and leaking in years to come)

custom fabricated large capacity charge cooler water header tank with rotrex oil tank combination

plug and play harness adaptors for the charge cooler water pump and air temperature sensor relocation.

We are very pleased and very proud of our RS4 kit which is now the most powerfull bolt on supercharger kit available anywhere in the world. Our test car is running just over 640bhp with a good exhaust sytem and intake mods.
our s5 has seen as high as 660bhp with simular mods, but expect this kit to do just over 600 bhp on a stock car and regualr super unleaded fuel.
    There are pretenders among us.....
Geniuses with the ability to become anyone they want to be.....

    Hi QuattroRS

Nice to see you on the forum

Thanks for the info, PES is definitly not going to find it's way in my car... multiple bad reviews on the web for this one.

    Really appreciate your input.
