Tranny out and new TC going in....anything else??

Trans shop just pulled my tranny out WITHOUT pulling the engine. He assured me that he has done many A6's 4.2 this way before. I was there alot and they did really seemed to know what they were talking about and had no issues pulling just the tranny out. I'm getting a new TC form Level ten in NJ. Anyone else have one from them

Any other items I should be changing while its out

    Thanks

Attachment 12729By that he means just after the Turbo next to the exhaust flange where the Downpipes bolt up. Here is a pic of the left Turbo.

Yep, my shop pulled the trans and tc without the motor, tough but gets the job done. Make sure they are careful filling it back up with trans fluid. I would recommend double checking it after a week or two once things settle. Many have needed to add more fluid, keeps things safe.

Most people have the ACE tc rebuild, go with them...isn't level 10 out of business and now 517?
