I think the big front intakes are gone and will be more like the E-tron concept. Pretender, any info?

Aesthetical improvements only, or perhaps a bump in power, mpg, interior, performance as well ?

Since its just a facelift model, I assume it would get a bump up to 450bhp (as per RS5) and that's it. I doubt any other changes but you never know! S5 changed mid-cycle to FI.

TT Mk 3 is rumored to have a TFT instrument panel, so one could speculate the the R8 facelift will employ a similar change to the IP. Some sources are suggesting that the R8 moves to the 4.0 l TT V8 engine and the car is to make liberal use of structural carbon fibre to reduce weight by about 80 kgs.

imho this engine will be reserved for the new r8 generation along with other important improvements
