New A3 is excellent.

All in all: 10/10. But the $1,000,000 question is how will it compare to the new A-Class, which also seems good? I tend to think that Audi / VW's experience producing high quality hatchbacks is going to tip the scales in favour of Audi. I certainly won't be trading my RS3 in for a new A-Class... at least, not yet!!!!! maybe when the new AMG A25 makes an appearance, I will be tempted?
I read that the new A3 is 80kg lighter than the outgoing comparable model. That's a very good result!
Don't even start me lol. I love the fact BMW have M specific wheels and different M-sport wheels. However, with Audi we see RS wheels on stock/S-line/S/RS models; basically all models!
Do we have a source for that? That's really good news. I think maybe Audi are serious about lowering weight. Even the new A6 is lighter. I hope this happens with all new models.

Yes you are right it is lighter:
"compared to the previous model, the new A3 is now 80 kg (176.37 lb) lighter"
" A3 1.4 TFSI that weighs just 1,175 kg (2,590.43 lb)"

Interesting in the article:
Audi will incorporate active engine mounts into the platform, but only for use in the forthcoming—and likely Euro only—RS 3 model.
