i think that applies to all RS models all over the world, i've sent an email to Audi.de regarding this issue as i wasn't sure either and got different answers here from different shops including from Audi dealer, they were claiming that the belt should be changed every 90k km or 100k km but Audi.de said that it must be changed every 60k km or 3 years, whichever occurs first! However, i think the water pump can be changed every 100k km but if you're on this job anyway for a couple of hundred $ it's better to change it anyway, take the old one to Audi and exchange it for a new one and pay the difference!

i found out mine is done in 2004 at 55k km, now running at 101k km... although i havent got information its done already between 55k km and present (got the car from 96k km...), its probably time to replace it...is it possible to look at the cambelt to see if its ''fresh''...?

what year is it yours? 2002? and in 2004 had already 55k km? Anyway, if you're not sure i would do the T-belt kit including the water pump and thermostat, mine was done at 60k km and now it has 113k km and i have just done it, just for my peace of mind, though according to Audi i could've waited until 120k km!

it's 3 years 100%....i think it also depends on how you drive the car, Audi usually recommends for 4 cyl. engines a 90k km interval and for the V-engines 120k km interval, however given that the RS's were meant to be driven harder than a regular Audi this is why they recommend 60k km interval or 3 years but i guess that if you drive it as a regular car you can exceed this interval with no problems. I am from Europe, and had back home a A6 2.5TDI Quattro and i did the T-belt according to their maintenance schedule at 120k km, this is also a V-engine and the torque it has puts a lot of stress on the parts....i got back the old parts after i did the T-belt to the RS6 and the belt doesn't look bad at all, on the contrary, i would've expect to see lots of cracks or other damage to it, but no sign of that!
