    Talking Chicago RS 6 Meet!

    Allright guys,

    I have been talking with a friend of mine that can get us access to the Chicago Motor Speedway for a couple of hours of some laps, pictures, videos etc. We have to behave ourelves when we are there.
    I need to know what everyone thinks as far as the date, and how many etc.

    I will help in any way and my friend assures me that we will be alone there, all Audi's are welcome S4's, UrS4's S6's, S8's and of course the almighty king himself the RS 6.

    Just wanted to see what kind of response we get.

    As Bauer said, if i was a little closer (like Denver!) than i'd be in for sure. As it stands i don't know if i could take the time off work to drive all the way out and back (the driving part doesn't bother me as i LOVE road trips!). Hope you get more responses from the boys in Chicago (GO CUBS!)

    you'd let my lowly S6 air it out for a few laps?

    i'd love to see the RS6 in action. i'm very, very happy with my S6, but man if they'd brought the avant here to the US i woulda leveraged my second born child to procur one.

    anyhow, when are you going to do this? and, uh, where is this track?

    Thats what I am talking about, there is no imposing whatsoever, I have a friend in the town of Cicero and he will let us in he has keys and authority etc. As far as scheduling I leave it to
    you guys to figure out and we can all see what is good for everyone, cant be early (alot of guys will not be able to show up) cant be late in november (bad weather, etc).
    Glad to see a good response.
    Here is my vote for the date "Nov. 12"

    This is what I was afraid of and why I didn't post an "I'm in" post immediately; have a Caribbean vacation coming up and I was kinda waiting to to see the GTG dates first.

    Well, you guest it, I'm on Harbour Island that week But I really don't want people working around my schedule; frankly, I'm not worth it.

    BTW, if the weather doesn't allow for track time, how about just some centrally located eatery (there's always the obligatory Hooter's GTG.)
