    Northeast U.S. RS6.com meet - PICTURES!

As promised, here are more pictures from Sunday's RS6 meet. Due to the number of pictures, I have started a new thread to cut down on loading time.

    Enjoy!

    The owners

    The group

    The cars

    Finnus' Mugello Blue beast

    Nene's Daytona Grey beast

The interesting note we received from a local RS6 owner who happened to pass by

    Speedracer's 911SC in motion

    Finnus' RS6 in motion [1]

Once again, it was a great pleasure meeting you all. Looking forward to more future meets!

    Nice pictures. :cool2:

Small turn out but it's good for the first official meet, great work by Finnus on the organising front.

So, the question is, when's the next meet going to be?

There's something pretty cool about seeing an RS6 hunkered down in front of or behind you while driving. It gives you a whole different perspective on the car's visual appeal.

So you can put a face with the names, order of owners in the picture from left to right (by RS6 ID):

John Hulbrock (John) - Daytona Gray
    Finnus (Bob) - Muguello Blue
    Nene (Nelson) - Daytona Gray
Speedracer (John) - Porsche 911 SC

looks like you guys had a blast
    We did!

So, the question is, when's the next meet going to be?
There was some talk of meeting closer to NYC late fall for a romp through the Catskills ...

Thanks for the pictures Karman & Nelsons!!! Great to meet everyone.

Nice pictures Karman! Thanks for taking good car of my car so I could get to drive Nelson's. Cooper and I had a blast. (That was him you overheard in one of the videos telling me to sell the house and go buy the RS6.)

I've been trying to reach Greg Haymann at Autofirme to tell him about our stop, but his message recorder is full so he must be on vacation.
I have some great places and roads in mind for the next meet although no compaints about this one.

    beast power

    Finnus:
Thanks so much for taking the initiative of putting this get together in motion. It was not very large showing, but I hope you realize that we did have a blast nonetheless. Although I'm all the way in Boston, I'm willing to represent my town if meets do occur in the NE area as much as possible. Thanks for taking time off your busy schedule to show us Western MA/Eastern NY!!!

    Karman:
Thanks so much for coming, and taking the pix. Your presence was greatly appreciated. Great meeting you, and if you ever come to Boston, I'm one more friend you can contact.

    John (aka speedracer):
Thanks so much for allowing me to take a ride on your SC beast. It was really wonderful to ride on a real sports car. Love the sound, inside the cabin and outside. Really thanks again.

    John Hulbrock:
Thanks for coming to meet with us and shoot the breeze. Really sorry you could not make the afternoon drive/lunch, but it was great to meet you. Looking forward to future meets.

Thanks to all again for your support on this drive and fun factor provided.

    Gustav,

Absolutely! As I stated from the start, I would love to see some M3s, M5s, E & S55s as well as Prosches, S4s (new or old), etc. Any performance car and anyone interested in the same!!!

Thanks so much for taking the initiative of putting this get together in motion. It was not very large showing, but I hope you realize that we did have a blast nonetheless.

    Nelson,

It was my pleasure. I hope I can help out again. John (Speedracer, let's start planning the next one ...)

I'm always grateful for whoever shows up, even if it was only one other person. It's a half empty half full point-of-view. I think the comments and pics say it all.

As it was, everyone was great and, yes, it was a blast! My friend Mike was ecstatic about the whole day and the chance to drive the beast.

I hope for one of our meets in the future, we can get the full range of colors. Red and green are going to be the tough ones. I think JJV-MA has a silver beast.

For the next meet, I will definitely help get the message out to some M5 boardmembers in the region.

I've been talking up the next event to some of my contacts. I've gotten real interest from the owners of BMW M3, Murcielago and a Viper ...

John (Speedracer), any choices for dates?

Nice pics... I like the annotation: "John Holbruck(John)"

I'll be driving home in a special new beast of my own from Toronto later this Fall/early winter, on my way back to Nashville.
It's kinda out of the way, but I thought I would take a drive around anyway. Maybe I can swing by NYC for a gtg at that point if you guys decide to set one up in November, late. Love to meet you guys, and it would be fun to share my new toy with some of you Audi heads.

How soon do you want to do it— before this winter? I'm always up for it.
