    2008 BMW 335i Chipped VS Stock RS6

Got a buddy at work that just got one and it was already chipped when he bought it. That thing is quick, ran them last night and he kept with me until about 120 and then i slowly pulled away. I was impressed.

You were impressed? That a 5 years younger chipped lighter RWD vehicle was able to keep up with you?

I think he's the one who should be impressed...

Ya, I agree with The RS6. It is easy to get 300+ whp with just a tune on that car.

Guys and Gals, we are at a point that our car stock isn't as untouchable as it may have been. Progress is beautiful.

Get a tune, don't tell him and re run.

vodeftones are you stock? As DHall1 mentioned if you have a decent tune you should be able to walk away from him all the way. I think the 335i is 300bhp stock so chipped, at least with Dinan is around 350bhp.

Those chipped 335i's move pretty good. I think more like 380hp and >400tq. Plus Dinan matches the BMW warranty (or did) on them.

Yeah I am still stock, but that is going to change this summer and I know he won't have a chance then. I was just surprised. I figured it would run out of steam after 100 like a B5 S4 would but it didn't, it just kept pulling and keeping up.
