    Fun fun

    Timing complete kit...
    Tesioner
    Tensioner pulley
    Upper Right pulley
    2 upper small idler
    Belt (duh)
    Water pump with gasket
    Thermostat
    Acc. Belt
    Acc. Tensioner with pulley
    Large plastic idler

    My 2 cents

    Replace fog light bulbs
    Clean out condensor and rad
    New power steer fluid
    New rad fluid
Clean out lower intercooler hoses (oil accumulates from Pcv system) or slight oil blow by from turbos

After doing this with Pat, the rollers are more important than the belt itself IMO. The difference between the new and old rollers was obvious. Doesn't mean you don't change the belt though.

Not a problem if you use Aces IV. Blow-by mostly comes from the cylinders. Rings to be more specific.

Pat can tell his Aces story again.

Check the passenger side of your block to see if there are any coolant or oil leaks where the oil cooler attaches to the block. If so, replace the o-rings and the cheap plastic coolant pipe with an aluminum one engineered by the guy on the QW D2A8 forum.

    http://forums.quattroworld.com/a8/msgs/21428.phtml

I confirmed last week that these pipes are the same for all the 4.2s in my garage(s). Just ordered three (3) of them

just had mine done a few weeks back!

if u leave it stock.. dun really need to change the intercooler hose.. but changing the dv while doing t-belt will give you more room to remove the hose clamp on the bottom of the oem dv.

i am still debating about fuel filter... its gonna be and ass to do it!

    change ur spark plugs!
