I was almost thinking of Vegas if we could get a group rate at one of the hotels. There is a nice track close by, I think Springhill? The place should be by a track that we can rent or get lap time.

IIRC, there isn't much out there as far as lodging and if you run off, you are in the dirt... And it's windy - hot but close to Vegas!

I bring my own lodging. Its 40ft and has a Ralph Lauren interior. Make the meet where we have the most fun and members able to visit.

I'm researching heartland park in Topeka. It has A 1/4 mile drag strip and a 2.5 mile road course. And it's centrally located....

How did you like the course? I contacted the owner to see what we would need to do to do like a Saturday day road course events, and then probably a Saturday evening drag strip. And probably Sunday road course and farewells in the afternoon. Granted, this is almost 2 years away. But I want to see if the Kansas city chapter or even acna would help and publicize it more. I'm sure there are some rs6 owners out there that aren't on here that would like to participate. And if it's acna sanctioned, even better ;-)

You might check with the kansas city or st louis group as they put on an annual event there. John aka jp4 would be a great guy to get involved. Also Jim aka amulet-s6 would be a great resource of info as he and john know how to rip around HPT
