    Looks like a wicked build... I think he forget to mention uprated turbos. A properly programmed boost controller would be a hoot with gt28s or 30s... looking forward to their final, I encouraged the guy to post here when done, I'll xpost if they don't.

    Maybe a little pricey for the intake, but looking through their site, they do some really, really nice fab work. Those BMC carbon filter boxes are available as stock pieces, possibly could fab your own intakes if you have the skills. I like their design, keeping the filter element in a closed air stream and out of hot engine bay leech heat.

    A local shop (NGP Racing) did an RS6 build. 673bhp. I can't remember the list of the work done, but re-built turbos were definitely on it.

    I guess I just dont get the goal here? 1500hp fuel pumps then install -6an lines to a fuel pressure regulator that can only take about 550hp.

    Maybe a hole in the hood and stick that fancy polished job out the hole.

    Unless their posting tranny mods too, not so much interested...I think what their doing is great, but at that power level, the stock tranny would be obliterated after one trip around the block...

    I believe they're doing gt30s and a strengthened trans... Seems like a no expense spared build... Should be interesting to see how it turns out.

    College graduate, actually. Perhaps you should read the "about us" section a bit closer. But I really do appreciate the ad hominem attack. I've been around cars my whole life, and they're my passion, but all of this is moot as it's not really the point for joining the forums.

    Thanks for all the kind words, guys. Aside from the character assassination, skribe is quite correct in that our RS6 build is "no expense spared." A friend of the shop, for whom we've done plenty of work spanning several vehicles, wants his RS6 essentially turned into something beastly (as if the stock RS6 isn't beastly enough). It's been with us for quite some time now. Usually, it follows a pretty regular course of events -- owner takes the car back after we've added a couple things, drives it for a week or two, wants more done, brings it back. This back-and-forth has been going for quite some time now. Once you get the bug, if you've got the means, then there's pretty much no telling what can happen.

    In regards to the transmission, it's still stock for now. From what we've seen with RS6 transmissions that we've come across, one of the biggest problems facing the trans is heat. Hence our larger, more efficient transmission cooler that we're currently pressure-testing before we slap 'er on. The stock transmission was replaced about 20k miles ago, so it's still quite new, and we're interested in seeing how isolating the cooling for the transmission will help its performance. There's always room for an upgrade, but if something as simple as heat reduction will suffice and keep the stock trans performing with all the power gains, then we'll "stick with what works," so to speak.

    And about the turbos, we're in the process of moving to new snails. The old ones, the ones we're removing, are the stock turbos with ported and clipped compressor and turbine housings. Once these are off, we're actually looking to sell them.

    In terms of the upgrades, we're staying a bit silent on the subject right now. After all, we can't put all our cards on the table right away. Especially in our first RS6.com post. Perhaps Wikileaks will find out and post it up, but for now, you'll just have to check back to the blog every so often.

    Our fab team is a bit shorthanded right now, as our head fabricator and engineer are headed to Doha, Qatar to do some R&D work, as we're slowly expanding Middle Eastward. Because of that, the RS6's progress might be a bit slower for the next ten days or so, but we're very interested in seeing the final result of the oil/trans coolers and the fuel system upgrades.

    We're more than willing to answer any other questions you guys have about our build, and we're also excited to join the boards. To be honest, I'm surprised we haven't done it sooner.     Sounds like Chi town has some really good builders, My Buddy built my Porsche there Marski, great fabricator. Welcome Andrew, looks like you have a great facility there.

    Chicago's always been a very industrious city. And thanks to the fact that the rest of Illinois and the surrounding area is cornfields, we've got a lot of open space and lots of lead feet. This culminates in one of the more vibrant car cultures, everything from FF Hondas (a few excellent garages come to mind, we're also the USA home of STANCE suspension) to RR Porsches.

    Andrew, i am coming to Melrose park during the summer and will deffently come by the shop.
    I am also planing on take the Porsche to an event there if My tuner schedules something..

    If you bring the Porsche, I'd love to snap some shots of it. Just seeing the info on it in your signature has me drooling, but I'll try to keep my drool off your paint job
