Thinking reduced weight is good.... (since I seem to be getting bigger these days...). And I don't have to contend with New England winters anymore (yet)
Thanks !

I've reduced the weight in my 996tt by 250ish lbs. One of the best improvements was the removal of the factory 49lb battery and the installation of an 11lb deka.
I am running the Odyssey 925T which saves over 30#. It starts the car fine but if your car sits from 1 to 2 weeks between drives you shoAttachment 10220uld throw a battery tender on it as the RS6 has a lot of parasitic electrical drain as do most modern luxury cars.

Yup. I do keep mine on a charger now. If it sits for more than a week, it starts hard, especially in the cold.
I would recommend the 925T. I did have the PC680 in my S4 and RS6, but it just trained too quickly and sometimes it barely started. I put the original battery back in and probably going t oget a 925 later when I get some extra cash.
